A roll-bond heat exchanger in a EV battery pack

Download our leaflet

Batteries, which run the next-generation of electric vehicles, require thermal management systems that will ensure batteries operation within a certain temperature range, since they generate heat due to the effects of internal resistance. One of the options to achieve efficient cooling is by installing a roll-bond cooling plate with proper connections in the battery pack. A good heat transfer between the batteries and the plate in combination with a well-designed channel structure ensures unified temperature distribution on the cooling surface, which results in good battery pack performance and extended battery lifespan.
